Mortal Kombat - Rap

This rap was made for fun in a class for an assignment, it doesn't exactly make sense by I have to make it rhyme and is mostly about sub - zero.
Here you go.

Mortal Kombat

(I have no friends...

I'm just a feared person...

poeple dont expect me...

to live here...

so....

then I became a ninja...)

and... thats when my story starts and then it happens,
.
..yup, yup, yup, yup, yup, yup, yup, yup, yup, yup, yup, yup, yup, yup, yup

(Mortal Kombat..)

I'm just a ninja, exposed coming to make you bleed.
Jumping from wall to wall because I'm light on my feet.
Thats right no way you can figure me out im sub - zero i'll freeze you about.
No way take a shot, i'll dodge it lighting fast.
Come on try to kick me you'll see what happens next.
Uh what, thats right I use magic tricks.
If you try to bully me you'll be flexed from the neck.
I use snow Ice and candy as my defense.
Thats rigth round 2 sub - zero wins. I'm to quick to get shot at,
and I don't fear men or anythin.
You cant defeat me because im dangerous Im the mother goose of thee animals.

ohhh Mortal Kombat...
I ain't no wombat
this stupid top hat wont fit meeee
so..
Mortal Kombat (fists in the air)
I'm no acrobat (victory for me to share)
I do combat and it does hurt meee...

...I'm the worst of the worst, but I'm still better than Kanye.
I'm the nightmare on Elm street and I'm cold hearted like lightin.
Go ahead try to kill im not afraid to go around town,
I'm as light as a feather I make no sound.
When they ask "hey where did that guy go" standing on the rooftop watching out the window. When they ask for a handshake I refuse instead I kill,
my leg is so powerful that is could break a mill.
Keep my voice low no I never get loud if you spot me
then I guess we must fight infront of the crowd I'm just
like rest and the Karate kid.
I stack cash down And I rack up bids and take way more hits than Rihanna did
oh.. did I mention my fists are cold as ice touch em once you'll freeze yourself twice. they call me the man with no heart. I never give remorse. Revenge is a dish best surved cold.

Yeah take a punch in the face,
or a bycicle kick
do a back flip and I wont even get hit
oh thats rigth you cant squeal out of this
when I get in rage we'll see what comes next

Mortal Kombat (oh i douged that hit)
There is no wombat
I'm no acrobat I'm only meee

Assignment #12: Awesome

#443 Looking up while underwater

- Isn't it just awesome going underwater in a pool and looking up with your goggles and seeing a mirror like top above u.

#408 DINOSAURS
- I really think dinosaurs are awesome because when I was a little kid I always watched Jurassic park and considered it the best movie ever, I also never understood it but enjoyed the dinosaur battles.

#403 Seeing a really happy dog out for a walk

Okay admit it, it's fun seeing Dogs happy when there're outside walking, and smiling at you.

#389 Going through a revolving door without having to push

- I think it's awesome because I'm actually a lazy person and the door is sort of vacuuming the air inside so it harder to push and when I was like 6 I always had trouble pushing the revolving door.

# My own awesome thing

- Would be when I saw Qavi arguing with a black belt karate "sen pi" about Star-wars, of who is a better character "Darth Vader, Darth Maul, Luke Skywalker, etc." (The black belt was Japanese!)

Honestly I'm also a Star-wars fan, so I also joined the argument as well.

Famous Quotes - 07

"All men dream: but not equally. Those who dream by night, in the dusty recesses of their minds, wake in the day to find that it was vanity: but the dreamers of the day are dangerous men, for they may act their dream with open eyes, to make it possible.

...This I did."

This quote means, be careful what you wish for - or it might just get you

Assignment #15 - Slam Poets Response

3 things that you are looking forward to learning, developing or using in your poetry.

  • Memorizing poems, using hand motions to help
  • Skills on writing a poem
  • Meaningful words

2 things that Greg or Beth Anne reinforced.

  • Music - poetry to a melody, Rap - poetry to a beat, Hip Hop - poetry to a rhythm
  • Poetry is expresses feelings

1 poem that you wrote yesterday.

(the poem we had to describe)

 Dancing

The wonderful twilight of beauty.
As of beauty and the beast.
The light of fire sparks.
Blue waves of ocean moves towards the sunset.
Broken ice flutters on the floor.
Rosebuds open, as the sunrise.
The rhythm of music expressed...

Well thats all I got so far for one of my poems.

Professor Scott's Tech Talk

What did you learn?
  • Most people lived in town not cities
  • Most people worked at home making food products, farm equipment
  • First full steam ship was built “The Accommodation” in Canada (1809)
  • The telegraph was the first way to communicate with people in other parts of Canada

Which technology are you interested in?
  • Morse code
  • Steam ships
  • Telegraph
 - How did it impact society?

  • Morse code - first machinery helped people communicate (lines, dots)
  • Steam ships - helped people travel longer on water (mostly up to 20 days)
  • Telegraph - allowed people to talk to each other in other parts of Canada

What question do you have?

  1. Was the Morse code used for ships basically?
  2. What medicine did they have back then?

Tie in a big idea: Everything became cheaper, transportation is cheap
