Reading Response Questions A: Due Feb. 16th, 2011
- Copy down a quote from a character and explain why you think it's meaningful. What does it suggest about this character's personality? Personal qualities? Etc. Explain your thinking.
- One quote Marcus says is "Let's send Wal - Mart senior citizens into battle." In his case he meant that there are more people working for Wal - Mart instead of the military. I say that this quote is meaningful by it is saying that we should remember that what all the heroes who protected us in war. I also think Marcus's personality is sarcastic by how he refers to "Wal - Mart" people to work there.
- What were your feelings and first impressions after reading the opening chapters of this book? Explain
- My impressions were that Marcus's family is going to a hard time from where they live and how his dad is at war.
